The budget for this show was $25 for set construction. The director knew very early on that he wanted shadows for fight sequences. Luckily, we found a very cheap light material we utilized to make a shadow curtain/shrine of sorts. We then decided on a post-apocalyptic Roman world so that we could build with scraps from around the shop, as the characters would have used whatever was available in the ashes to create this society.
