The Mousetrap

This design was very different from how I usually work. I often do not look at the original design of the show, however, the director wanted it as close to the original as possible. I kept the layout the same as the blocking was specific and kept the height, but altered the manor to be an English hunting lodge stylistically. This was done for practical reasons, but it also helped establish the feeling that our characters were being hunted. I also treated the props and set dressing as a a game of clue. There were hint's about the plot and the killers identity alluded to in the paintings and props.
